ABOUT THE ARTIST

ILLUSTRATION || DESIGN || STRATEGY

I combine interdisciplinary art practices to create illustrations, animations, and design concepts that not only look good, but feel visceral to the viewer. As an artist, I aim to look at every angle possible for a piece and find visual approaches and techniques that stick with an audience-- whether it's poster design, animation, character artwork or simple logo design, I aim to create art to be remembered, rather than content to be consumed.During my undergraduate studies, I worked in several different field of art: visual art --including photography, animation, and both traditional and digital drawing/painting techniques-- creative writing strategies, as well as some work in theatrical settings. All art forms are symbiotic, and understanding several different disciplines allows me as an artist to put multiple lenses to what might seem like an otherwise uninteresting concept.
